Huafu Technology’s Egypt project successfully produces its first batch of glass, marking a strong start to the company’s overseas projects in the new year. In March 2026, Huafu Technology’s first full-turnkey overseas project this year—the Borex glass electric melting furnace project in Egypt—achieved successful glass output. Construction on the furnace commenced last year and, after more than six months of work, the first glass output was realized at the beginning of this year. Although the achievement was not immediate, continuous commissioning has resulted in glass melt quality and equipment performance metrics that both exceed expectations, with the overall system operating in excellent condition.
