Development history

1988

1988

In 1988, an all-electric glass melting furnace with a daily production capacity of 3 tons was introduced from the United Kingdom. We subsequently made 26 technical enhancements to the system, ultiependmately enabling the indent development of advanced electric melting furnaces better suited to actual domestic conditions, while further advancing the technology.
1998

1998

In 1998, facing the transformation of the domestic glassware market, Chengde Huafu Technology Engineering Co., Ltd. came into being.
2000

2000

In 2000, Huafu’s series of electric glass melting furnaces were recognized as a key new product. Prior to 2000, electric melting furnaces were mainly used in the small‑scale handmade glassware industry, with daily production capacities ranging from 3 to 18 tons. To date, soda‑lime glass electric melting furnaces for hand‑forming processes have increasingly been adopted for producing high‑value crystal glass, with their use now concentrated in regions such as Shanxi, Shandong, and Hebei, involving over 70 enterprises.
2002

2002

Since 2002, Huafu has developed high‑borosilicate glass electric melting furnaces in various specifications in Zhejiang and Yunnan provinces. The products are primarily used in the solar thermal conversion industry. Among these, the 27 m² fully electric glass melting furnace built for Yuxi Taibiao Group in Yunnan was one of the largest domestic high‑borosilicate production lines at the time.
