On July 10, 2024, Professor Zhang Zhanbiao, Director of the Glass Furnace Special Committee of China Silicon Glass Research Institute; Huang Jiangang, executive deputy director of the special committee and senior engineer of China Light International Engineering Co., Ltd.; Li Mingkun, deputy director of the special committee and chief engineer of China Light International Engineering Co., Ltd.; Wang Zhaokang, Secretary-General of the Special Committee, visited Chengde Huafu Glass Technology Engineering Co., Ltd. for technical exchanges.
During the visit, he was warmly received by Qin Cheng, chairman of Chengde Huafu Glass Technology Engineering Co., Ltd., Yu Guangcai, general manager, Wu Zuojun, deputy chief engineer, and Zhang Yinghua, deputy general manager of sales. Accompanied by the leaders of Quamfu, Director Zhang Zhanbiao and his entourage visited the company's processing workshop and the laboratory of the soon-to-be-completed glass electric melting furnace R&D center, learned about the development history of the company, and conducted in-depth exchanges on the national environmental protection policy, glass electric melting technology and the application and development of the industry. During the exchange, Secretary-General Wang Zhaokang introduced the preparatory situation of the 27th National Glass Kiln Technology Seminar held in Guiyang in October, and listened to the opinions and suggestions of the leaders of the enterprise.

On August 1, 2026, the engineering center’s construction team officially moved onto the site of a project in Shandong, where installation work has commenced on the glass electric melting furnace and the 300-ton-per-day batching system. Currently, installation is progressing smoothly according to schedule, with ignition expected to be ready by September 20.

Many years ago, our company established initial contact with a client in India, marking the beginning of our exploration into cross-border collaboration. However, due to the developmental stages and market conditions prevailing at the time, the partnership ultimately came to an unfortunate end, failing to yield the anticipated commercial results.
As the construction pace of engineering projects eased in the first half of the year, the Engineering Center seized opportunities during lulls in work to organize a specialized training program aimed at enhancing the capabilities of its core personnel. On June 22, the inaugural 2026 training course for cultural‑traditional, technical, and managerial leaders officially commenced at the Yinque Mountain Resort Hotel in Chengde, with a total duration of six days. Participants included 34 seasoned and newly appointed key staff members from the Engineering Center, supported throughout by four members of the Center’s administrative office who provided continuous on‑site coordination and logistical support.

Since the onset of summer, temperatures have remained persistently high.
