R & D furnace PLC control system not only can realize the  automatic control of current PID and the replacement of the original control mode, PLC control system can also realize fault diagnosis, data logging, change of production and other functions, greatly increasing the scalability of the furnace control system.

 

II. Core Content and Innovation Points of the Project Development

 

1、The control system consists of sensors, PLC, human-machine interface, HMI and the matching control cabinet, which can realize the automatic PLC control of the electric melting furnace.

 

2、Data acquisition: real-time detection of furnace operation data through the current transformer, voltage transformer, thermocouple and other equipment, current transformer and voltage transformer are selected true RMS transmitter.

 

3、PID control: The PLC analyzes the data internally by means of a PID algorithm, and real-time outputs signal to control the power controller, ensuring that the current of that furnace be stable.

 

4Parameter setting: To achieve that the transmitter parameters, power parameter limits and its enable switch, and PID control parameters be set through the HMI human-machine interface, the user can adjust according to the actual use requirements on site.

 

5、Fault diagnosis: PLC carries out real-time monitoring on the operation data of the electric furnace, real-time displays fault information through the HMI when analyzes the fault information to determine the fault location and the cause of the failure.

 

6、Data Recording: The key data and historical alarm information of the operation process are recorded by HMI, which is convenient for later data analysis and process improvement.
